Una Foden has revealed that The Saturdays have no plans to reunite this year.
The mum-of-two first met Mollie King, Rochelle Humes, Vanessa White and Frankie Bridge ten years ago this year, but unfortunately for fans, they will not be getting back together to celebrate their anniversary.
The Tipperary native, who’s about to launch her first solo album, has said the band will probably mark the anniversary privately and have no plans to mark the occasion by reforming.
“It has been ten years since we first met so we will definitely do something together but it will be more a personal, private thing that we do.” she said live on Dan Wootton’s Facebook.
“I don’t think there will be any performances or anything this year. It will be ten years next year since we released our first single so maybe next year.
“But this year I really don’t think any reunion will be happening musically though obviously us girls are really good friends. We will do something, definitely.”
The Tipperary native went on to reassure fans that The Saturdays haven’t split forever, and revealed they’re all just taking time out to work on solo projects and focus on their lives away from the band.
“We’re all working on different things, we’re taking some time out, the band has not disbanded whatsoever but it’s time that we focus on ourselves and have time outside the band.” she said.
