Conor McGregor may not be taking on Eddie Alvarez until November, but the fighting talk has already started between the pair.
The duo will step into the ring in New York on November 12th, but Eddie has already thrown the first punch, in terms of slagging off Conor.
He revealed that he’s not worried about this fight, and doesn’t think Conor is up to scratch any more.
While on The MMA Hour, Eddie said, “Usually when I square off with a man, my heart rate goes up, I feel something. I never felt so unthreatened by a human being as when I was on a stage with him.
“That’s the God’s honest truth. I’ve never felt so unthreatened.”
He continued to slate Conor, by admitting he’s one of the weakest fighters in their devision at the moment.
He said, “They’re [other contenders] well versed to the point where they can hang with some of the toughest guys in the world in any aspect of the sport. And I don’t think [McGregor] can, from what I’ve seen. The last Nate Diaz fight was a very big eye opener for me.”
For some reason, we can’t imagine Conor taking this lightly….
