In an explosive interview with TVNow magazine, Jeremy McConnell has claimed that he is not the father of Stephanie Davis’ child, and he is definitely not going to be a dad, despite Stephanie’s recent announcement.
Last month, Stephanie broke the news that she’s expecting a baby, and has spoken openly about things such as having cravings, and what sex she thinks the tot is. Jeremy hasn’t been as vocal about the topic, until now, that is!
The star is back home in Ireland this week, and was supposed to appear at the TV3 launch for the new series of Big Brother yesterday, but unfortunately fell ill. He did, however, speak exclusively to TVNow magazine on Thursday, and the former CBB contestant revealed that if Steph’s pregnant, it’s definitely not his baby.
“That’s ridiculous,” said Jeremy. “I’m not going to be a dad. If she is pregnant, it’s not mine.” He continued: “If I was a dad, I’d be 100% no, 110%, the best dad in the world. But you’ll see in the future that it’s not my kid, and she’ll look like a mug.” But having said these things about Stephanie, Jeremy then seemed to mellow and blame the media for the couple’s problems, adding that “I still love Steph and I’d never bad mouth her, but I just think the whole thing is a media approach and it’s ridiculous.”
The news comes shortly after Stephanie lashed out at Jeremy on social media, saying “I don’t hate the lad. I feel very VERY sorry for him. I wouldn’t mind, but don’t want to get someone pregnant and have a family and then not be there. I’m happy doing it alone.”
She then went on to say to Jeremy, “You will have nothing to do with your baby.”
