Erin McGregor is set to tie the knot with partner Terry Kavanagh next year, and standing beside her will be daughter Taylor as Erin has revealed the sweet role she will play in their wedding.
Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-two shared a look at the special day she arranged for her nearest and dearest as she asked her bridesmaids to take on the role.
Daughter Taylor received an invite, but not to be a bridesmaid. Instead Taylor was asked to be her mum’s maid of honour.
Sharing the sweet moment on her Instagram story, the influencer posted a video of Taylor opening a bridesmaids’ box, with the phrase “I can’t say I do without you” written inside, followed by the pair hugging. Captioning the clip: “My daughter is my maid of honour!”

Erin also opened up about how challenging it was to pick her bridesmaids.
Writing: “‘Was it hard to pick ur bridesmaids?’ The short is YES. I’m very family orientated I believe people come & go in your life even after a long time & I’ve learnt people you thought you knew can shock you but one thing you can count on is family. They will always be there.”
“I chose each person that represented a part of my life. They stand for all the girls that I think of when I see them i.e. family, daughter, childhood friends, new friends. Not everyone is comfortable walking up aisles or maybe wearing dresses they don’t have full control over for many different reasons. So many people want to be part of your bridal journey but don’t want to be a bridesmaids so that helps narrow it down. I’d hate to think I hurt anyone’s feelings.”
“But I think on your day you need people who lift you up & give you a good vibe, I’m also aware that people are looking in and are quick to judge even the people around me so I take that seriously and allow people to stay back. I’ll always make sure they are happy if they are in my videos.”
Erin and Terry got engaged during the Christmas season last year.
With Terry popping the question on stage after Erin finished performing during the Christmas Panto. The soon-to-be bride and groom have been together since 2014 and share a son, Harry.
Announcing their engagement, Erin shared a video of the sweet proposal and penned a heartfelt tribute to her new fiancé. Writing: “I’m totally speechless, with every hurdle and struggle we’ve been through, we’ve been through it together, and I know whatever comes our way we will take it on as a team.”
Continuing: “My heart is bursting with all of the love and support from everyone and I’m still trying to process the magic of it all.”
