Eoghan McDermott has opened up about rekindling an old flame with his former girlfriend Aoife Melia.
The broadcaster has been living the single life ever since he split from top model Jo Archbold back in May, but now he’s officially no longer on the market!
The 33-year-old has gotten back together with his former love Aoife Melia, seven years after they first broke-up.
The pair originally parted ways because they were in two different countries, and now that medical student Aoife has returned home they rekindled their old romance and Eoghan’s described the reunion as “so lovely”.
“She’s a doctor and she moved off to study medicine.” he told Goss.ie
“It was around the time I had just got a radio show in London so I moved to London. We were just in two different countries.She’s just moved back and we randomly reconnected. It’s lovely, it’s really lovely.
“It’s like a dual sensation where we’re getting to know each other again. We’re new people but at the same time we’ve all this history so it’s lovely.”
Last week, Eoghan took to Instagram to share a snap of himself looking happier than ever with the stunning brunette.
