Ed Sheeran has been one of the most popular and high earning pop stars in the world since he rose to fame in 2011.
The Galway Girl singer, who has released three UK number one albums, is worth an estimated £28 million, and shows no signs of stopping just yet.
In December 2015, after the huge success of his number album ‘X’, the 26-year-old announced to fans that he would talking some well deserved time off from his music career to spend time with friends, family and to travel the world.
Ed has since returned to the music scene with his hugely successful album Divide, and has been touring ever since.
However, despite his extended time off, the Shape of You singer still made a reported £15 million in 2016, a staggering £47,000 a day, and his firm was left with profits of £10.6 million.
Not bad for a year off!
