Ed Sheeran is facing another lawsuit for one of his hit songs.

The hitmaker’s Thinking Out Loud became hugely popular in 2014 but Ed has been accused of copying another song.

A company called Structured Asset Sales filed the lawsuit, is claiming the hit copied Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get it On.”

TMZ reports that a lawsuit filed in the Second US Circuit Court of Appeals in New York claims the “Shape of You” singer copied the “melody, rhythms, harmonies, drums, bassline, backing chorus, tempo, syncopation and looping” from Gaye’s hit.

Sheeran has reportedly denied the claims.

It’s not the first time Ed has been accused of copying a song, back in 2016 his song Photograph faced copyright infringement.

Northern Irish rockstar, Johnny McDaid, was also named the lawsuit.

Johnny co-wrote the song, which was under fire for copyright infringement.

Songwriting duo Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard claimed that the song infringed the copyright of their song Amazing, which was released in 2012 and sung by X-Factor winner Matt Cardle.

The two songwriters sought $20 million dollars, plus royalties.

An agreement was made outside of court with the specific payments remaining unknown.
