Eamonn Holmes has opened up about his wife Ruth’s chances of winning Strictly Come Dancing.
The talk show hosts competing on the BBC dancing show with partner Anton DuBeke, and has been suffering with a hamstring injury since early on in the season.
“The chances of her winning are nil,” Eamonn revealed at an event for a school for children with special educational needs.
“I say to her, ‘Are you OK? You look exhausted. Is it not time to step away?
“She is enjoying proving things to herself. I think she loves it.”
The 57-year-old also revealed that he misses having his wife around the house, and it has begun to feel “lonely.”
