There’s so much glitz and so much glamour as stars descend on Dublin for the Dublin International Film Festival.
The red carpet was rolled out for the opening night with the World Premiere of TWIG.
The film showcases some of Ireland’s exciting up-and-coming stars including Sade Malone, Jade Jordan, Donncha Tynan and Justin Anene who all walked the Red Carpet.
Gráinne Humphreys, Festival Director said: “I’m delighted to open the festival with the wonderful ‘TWIG’, a fascinating combination of Greek tragedy and gangland drama, performed with passion by a rich and diverse cast of emerging film talent and directed with great verve by Marian Quinn.
“I must acknowledge the support of all our partners and especially venues who have helped us to bring the programme together. I have a thousand people to thank but on opening night I will focus on just three key groups, the wonderful festival team, the incredible filmmakers whose work we celebrate and the audiences who have already signed up in great numbers to share this year’s event.”
