Comedian Des Bishop married his girlfriend of two years Hannah Berner, over the weekend and the new bride has shared some photos of their big day.
The pair tied the knot in a relaxed beach ceremony, followed by a reception at Des’ Hamptons home in New York.
Des opted for a sleek navy suit, while Hannah wore a stunning white mermaid gown with a lace bodice and spaghetti straps. She paired the dress with a thin bridal veil and a pair of statement diamond earrings. Along with a colourful bouquet.
The reality star also gave fans a glimpse of her gown from their rehearsal dinner, which was held the night before the wedding.
The rehearsal was also hosted in Des’ beach house. With Hannah donning a stunning white crochet dress with balloon sleeves and cutouts on the torso for the pre-wedding celebration.
According to Page Six, the pair incorporated many personal details into their big day. The reality star had the coupe’s initials, “H+D” painted on her ring finger. And wanted something special for their menu they named the drinks after their cat, Butter, and dog, Romeo.
Calling the custom cocktails “Butter’s Bellini” and “Romeo’s Martini.”
Des and Hannah announced their exciting engagement back in March 2021.
Sharing a loved-up snap showing off the ring, the comedian beamed, “When you know, you know. Laughs for life.”
Revealing how he popped the question, on Girls Gotta Eat podcast, the 46-year-old shared that he proposed by writing Hannah a song.
Explaining that it was a nod to the early days of their relationship as he would write her “funny songs” while she was filming Bravo’s Summer House, Des filmed himself singing his song of choice on an autotune app and sent it to Hannah.
“I texted her the video. We watched it together and then I proposed,” he shared.
“The funny thing about proposals is there’s so much prep that goes into it, it almost took me by surprise the magnitude of the situation.
“I did it and then she was like, ‘Are you joking?’ I was like, ‘No’. And then she started bawling crying.”
A massive congratulations to the newlyweds!
