Des Bishop has revealed that he’s become a big hit with the older ladies, since taking part in Dancing with the Stars.
The comedian, who’s in a committed relationship, has been showcasing some impressive dance skills with partner Giulia Dotta on the RTE show – and it seems his moves have set certain ladies’ pulses racing!
“I’m getting more attention from the older ladies.” he told the Irish Mirror.
However, the 41-year-old admits there are other perks he enjoys along with the increase in female attention, including chatting about dancing over comedy.
“Honestly, what I love about it is the craic. People love the dancing and it’s a bit of an icebreaker for people.” he said.
“It’s nice to talk to people in a lighthearted way – I’d rather talk to people about dancing than about comedy. It’s fun to give them a twirl and all that.
“One of the best things for me is my friends can watch it with their kids and then their kids can talk to me about it, because obviously they couldn’t watch my comedy shows. It’s nice.”
