She’s the woman behind one of our favourite tv shows, Derry Girls, and now Lisa MGee is back with a new project.
The Northern Irish writer is creating a new series for Virgin Media, but it’ll be very different to anything we’ve seen from her before.
Lisa’s working on a new thriller, called The Deceived, a story of lies, murder and betrayal.
Speaking about the project today, she said: “I wrote it with my husband. It’s very different from Derry Girls. It’s about a young student who falls in love with a lecturer and follows him to Donegal where a suspicious death takes place.”
The four-part show will air this autumn, and we’re already excited!
