Dermot Kennedy is finally releasing new music and it’s coming soon, very soon. Yep, the Irish singer has revealed to fans that his newest single will be available on May 5th.
Revealing the exciting news to Instagram the Better Days singer wrote, “I’m so so happy to announce that my new single ‘Something to Someone’ is out on May 5th! I can’t wait for you to hear this one. Been holding on to it for a while now. Pre-save it now at the link in my bio and head over to my TikTok for a little preview X”
The singer has been teasing new music for a while now, even creating a fun scavenger hunt for fans in New York back in April. He revealed unreleased lyrics from his new music on handwritten letters hidden around Brooklyn, for fans to find.
Which is such a fun idea, fans were searching the city for the letters in the hopes that they could receive the special treat that comes along with being a letter holder.
Dermot explained, “I’m gonna make sure that it’s like a special thing to have and that if you show up with it, at a show in five years, who knows, you’ll like get merch, get tickets.
“It’ll be like an early mailing list almost. So if you see one of these around, or if you see them near you, do pick it up.”
