Two Dermot Kennedy gig announcements in one week – lucky us!

It goes without saying, the Irish singer/songwriter has become one of the biggest and fastest-selling live artists ever, following his historic run of Irish shows this year, performing eight concerts across the country.

While just earlier this week, the Dublin native announced that he would be playing Marley Park next June as part of his second album, Sonder tour.

Writing on social media: “Dublin!! My home!!! I’ll be playing for you next summer at Marlay Park!!! I cannot wait!! Be quick!! I love you! Tickets go on sale this Friday 7th Oct at 10am local.”

Tickets went on sale this morning at 10am and unsurprisingly sold out in under ten minutes.

However, if you didn’t manage to snag one, not to fear as he’s only gone and added another date for Saturday 24th June 2023.

“You guys sold out the first Marlay Park show in under 10 minutes so we’re adding a second one!! This is crazy!! Ireland, thank you so so much!! I love you!! Tickets on sale now,” he shared to his Instagram.

Fans were quick to react with one writing: “Bought my ticket and booked my flight! It’s been too long!” while another wrote: “I bought tickets from all the way over in Vancouver Canada. No idea where I will be in life by next June but I just had to.”
