Conor McGregor is set to make a major “left field” announcement following his UFC 205 fight, that could leave fans devastated. Dana White broke the news of his announcement yesterday.
Reports are suggesting that the Notorious plans to take a step back from MMA after his New York fight against Eddie Alvarez, so that he can spend more time at home.
Nothing has been officially confirmed just yet but website SmackHisFace.com revealed that Conor may be leaving the MMA ring for a considerable amount of time.
Their report suggests that pressures from his intense training regime, multiple press conferences, interviews and tv appearances have put a strain on the Crumlin native’s relationships at home. He wants some time to “get his life in order.”
However, this is all just speculation at the moment so we’ll try not jump to conclusions just yet.
