After his devastating loss against Nate Diaz in Mach, Conor McGregor vowed to fight him again – and it seems the Dubliner is a man of his word.
Despite the initial rematch being scheduled for UFC200 next month, Conor was spectacularly pulled from the fight card due to a dispute with UFC officials.
The pair are now set to take to the ring again at UFC 202 in Las Vegas on August 20, as confirmed by UFC last night.
We can only imagine the delight in the McGregor family today, as they’ve been waiting for confirmation of this news for quite some time.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine last month, Conor’s girlfriend Dee said, “Hopefully he’ll be getting another fight towards the end of the summer.”
