Conor McGregor has shocked fans after posting a picture of himself, posing with what appears to be a gun, on social media.
The Dubliner stood holding the weapon, while wearing a red dressing gown. Alongside the pic, Conor said, “You need people like me,” making reference to the hit 1983 movie, Scarface.

While Conor may have simply been trying to have some fun, fans are outraged at his actions.
Irish model Holly Carpenter has said, “Ah why did McGregor just post a photo holding a gun?” While another fan, Darren Barker said, “Why post a pic with a gun when it’s guns that kill innocent people every day and you hold it like a toy.”
This isn’t the first time Conor has caused controversy with his pictures, as last year the Crumlin native also shared a picture of him with a gun, which led to him being investigated by the Gardai.

Conor later revealed that he was “simply rehearsing for a potential upcoming film role.”
Meanwhile, Dana White has left the sports star with a huge decision to make about his UFC future.
