UFC boss Dana White has revealed Conor McGregor could be set to make a whopping $75 million if the fight with Floyd Mayweather goes ahead.
The two sports men have been in talks for months about getting into the ring together, however Dana previously admitted it will be “a tough deal” to strike.
Speaking on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Dana said, “If the fight sells as well as I think it can, Floyd makes a little north of $100 (million) and Conor makes $75 (million).
“I think we get the McGregor side in the next couple of days. Then I go lock myself in a room for a couple days with Team Mayweather and see what we can come out with.”
The UFC president went on to say, “I wanted to get McGregor locked in first, because McGregor is under contract with me.
“And at the end of the day, does this fight make a ton of sense for me? It really doesn’t. But Conor wants this thing really bad and I’ve said it many times, the kid’s stepped up and saved some big fights for me, man, so I’m in. I’ll figure it out.”
Meanwhile, Conor is preparing for the arrival of his first child in the coming weeks, recently arranging lavish baby shower for his girlfriend Dee Devlin ahead of the birth.
