Conor McGregor has handed himself into authorities in New York following a dramatic incident in The Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.
The Irish MMA champion was wanted by the NYPD for questioning following the incident involving UFC fighters as they left the venue on a bus.
The violent scenes took place following a media day for UFC 223, with company boss Dana White condemning Conor’s actions.
“What happened here today is Conor and approximately 20 guys apparently were let in through the doors, they stormed the building and got down to the loading docks where fighters were getting on the buses and started to attack the buses, throwing trash cans and things like that,” he said in a statement.
“This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of the company.
“You can imagine he’s going to be sued beyond belief. This was a real bad career move by him.”

The UFC also released a statement which reads: “The organisation deems today’s disruption completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow.
“Immediately, Lobov has been removed from this weekend’s card and individuals involved in the incident are not welcome at tomorrow’s ceremonial weigh-in or Saturday’s event at Barclays Center.”
