Conor McGregor has some seriously harsh words for WWE superstar John Cena.
John Cena is one of the WWE’s most recognisable and successful wrestlers and it appears he has rubbed Conor McGregor up the wrong way.
In a recent press conference to promote next week’s fight with Nate Diaz, the Irish wrestler revealed that he has nothing but contempt for the WWE star.
He said, “What’s the main guy? John Cena? He’s 40 years of age walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and headband talking about no one can see him.
You can see him right there — he’s a big fat 40 year old failed Mr. Olympian. Do you know what I mean? They’re dweebs those guys.”
As expected, John did not take the attack on his character lying down and he took to Twitter implying that Conor slated him because of his success.
He tweeted, “Achievement often breeds contempt. The more you achieve the more contempt you will see. Stay focused on you and moving forward #nevergiveup.”
Conor definitely won’t be happy with this!
