Conor McGregor is in New York at the moment ahead of his UFC 205 fight against Eddie Alvarez. He’s been doing a number of media interviews in the lead up to his highly awaited fight, and yesterday he couldn’t escape questions about the presidential election.
The Crumlin native made his thoughts on both Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton very clear, telling BT Sport that he doesn’t think that anything drastic is going to change, and that the public are just brainwashed into thinking this way.
“I just could not give a b**locks, with all due respect, the whole thing is weird to me.
“The public are just brainwashed into thinking something is going to happen with this one.
“I don’t think either of those two contenders, or whatever they are, have power in anything, anyway,” he said.
There you have it folks, Conor has spoken.
