Conor McGregor can breath a sigh of relief as the Gardai have confirmed they won’t be charging him over the controversial gun pic he shared online recently.
The UFC champ shared a picture two weeks ago of himself in one of his swanky new cars, wearing a balaclava while holding a replica gun.
He captioned the pic, “Put the with game in the bag and step away from the vehicle.”
At the time, Gardai in Crumlin revealed that they’d be investigating the circumstances under which the photo was taken, but have since said he’s off the hook.
According to The Sun newspaper, a press office spokesman said, “A number of items were handed in by an individual for testing by An Garda Síochána. It has now been established that no offence was committed.”
The MMA star previously took to social media to explain the picture, saying, “I apologise for having the air-soft out in public. I was simply rehearsing for a potential upcoming film role.”
Well he can breathe a sigh of relief now!
