Conor McGregor has just become a dad for the first time, according to his father Tony, with the arrival of a baby boy.
And the MMA star and partner Dee Devlin haven’t had to think too hard about what to name him, as he’s apparently been called Conor Jnr!
Fans of the couple were put on standby last week, when Conor posted photos of himself and Dee on the way to hospital, fuelling speculation that the baby’s arrival was imminent. It turned out to be a false alarm that time, as Conor posted a snap of himself alongside Dee, with the caption: “In the hoppo not there yet.” And just a couple of hours later, he posted another message on Instagram, saying “Thanks to everyone, but we are not there yet. He’s a true McGregor, he rushes for nobody ha ha ha!”
Today, however, the wait seems to be over according to Conor’s dad, who took to Facebook to post the message “Delivery for the McGregor/Devlins,” with the baby boy having been welcome into the world in the Coombe hospital.
We’re still waiting for official confirmation from the man himself, but with his love of social media, we’re betting that won’t be too far away!
