It was announced last week that Robbie Keane would be leaving his current club, LA Galaxy, at the end of the year and moving on to something new.
While reports yesterday suggested that a move back to Dublin could be on the cards for the 36-year-old and his family, these rumours have now been shut down.
Taking to social media Claudine Keane let her followers know the truth. On Twitter she wrote, “So many people asking if we’re moving back to Ireland. We will be home for Christmas but not for long, maybe a few more years from now.”
The mum-of-two also replied to a fan who asked whether Robbie was in talks with Shamrock Rovers for a new deal by saying, “No, first we heard of that…it’s just a rumour no truth to it.”
Well that certainly clears things up.
