RTE presenter Claire Byrne has revealed that between juggling work and her two small children, she’s too busy at the moment to plan her wedding.
Claire has been engaged to her partner Gerry Scollan since 2013, but neither of them have the time to make any final wedding arrangements just yet.
The star has so much to do at the moment, what with raising two children, Patrick and Jane, who are both under the age of three, as well as presenting Claire Byrne Live.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, Claire said, “Every couple of months we talk about tit and say we’ll do it in the next 12 months. We just haven’t set a date yet. We’ll do it, but with babies and full time work, it gets put on the long finger.”
Claire has previously spoke about the difficulties of juggling her career and family life, telling the Sunday Independent, “This has been the toughest professional and personal year of my life. I’m not going to say it’s an easy thing to do, because it’s not. It’s do-able, just about, but it’s tough.”
Well we’re sure as soon as Claire gets a free minute, herself and Gerry will be able to plan the ceremony of their dreams!
