It’s no surprise that the men that have played together on the Irish rugby team are incredibly close.
This was proven by Cian Healy and Jamie Heaslip when the new dad asked his teammate to be godfather.
Jamie and his wife Sheena welcomed their first child, baby Harper, earlier this month.
Cian took to Instagram to revealed that he had been asked.
He shared a sweet pic of a little onesie with the words ‘Churchy, Will you be my Godfather?’ printed on it.
He captioned the adorable photo: “Just got myself a little new best mate!”
Sheena Heaslip commented on the pic writing: “Harper ♥ Church ♥”
Fans adored the post and congratulated him on the exciting news.
