Charleen Murphy has opened up to followers on how to get over a tough breakup.

During an Instagram Q and A, the Hold My Drink podcast host was asked about reuniting with her boyfriend Dano Mandroiu. With a follower asking: “Currently going through a tough tough breakup…hope we can fix things like ye.”

Charleen and her footballer beau split last summer, but rekindled their romance in January.

Opening up to followers, the influencer reminded that its important to prioritise yourself and not focus as much on reuniting after a breakup.

Writing: “Hope you’re okay, breakups are not easy at all. I think it’s important when you go through a breakup to not expect/anticipate yous getting back together if that makes sense.”

“I always think if its meant to happen it will & if you cling on to hope toooo much then it actually stops you from actively trying to move on with your life.”

“Do things for yourself again and make yourself feel good and what’s meant to be will be,” she advised.

The Dubliner announced herself and Dano were back together on Instagram at the beginning of the year.

Posting an adorable picture to Instagram the Hold My Drink podcast host hard launched (or relaunched) her rekindled relationship captioning the pic, “Guess whos back”, and the comments were full of love.

Her best friend and podcast co-host Ellie Kelly wrote, “❤️❤️❤️ we love it”, while fellow influencer Niamh Cullen wrote, “YAYYYY😭❤️ was waiting for this post xxxxxx”

Speaking about their breakup on her podcast Charleen explained that “nothing bad” went down between them and that she felt she had to split for herself due to the pressure she felt on social media.

But even after the breakup Charleen said there was no bad blood between the two, “It’s very strange this time having a good break-up because I’ve only ever had toxic break-ups in the past. It’s nearly easier when you hate them, but I don’t.

“It’s normal to have doubts in a relationship, but if it’s more doubts than not then you’re probably not in the right relationship,” she shared on Hold My Drink.
