Influencer Charleen Murphy has once again thanked fans for their support after she was allegedly assaulted at the Grafton Capital Hotel in Dublin earlier this month.
The social media star was enjoying a dinner with a friend when a 27-year-old man allegedly approached Charleen from behind and “punched her full force to the back of the head” leaving her with a two-inch laceration on her face.
Charleen has made sure to keep her followers updated along the way, taking to Instagram when she can, to share what happened.
“Hi, Oh my God I feel like I haven’t been on here in ages,” Charleen said in an Instagram story that she posted on Thursday.

“I found stories the hardest to come back to, something stopped me coming on because obviously, I was posting pictures and all last week and that helps me because it’s a creative outlet for me.”
“When you’re going through any situation, being creative and taking your mind off it is the best thing. I didn’t want to go complete ghost and not do what I enjoy doing, I genuinely love my job. But I’m back to actual work today,” she told her followers.
Charleen then went on to show her appreciation and thanks to everyone who had been there for her during this difficult time.
Saying: “I’ve said this before but I’ve never been so grateful for the community I’ve built on here of amazing, amazing people.”
She continued by saying how much love she felt from everyone over the past while and how it means “literally the world to her.”
“I can’t ever thank yous enough for that,” she added.
Charleen concluded her chat and revealed that when she has the ability to talk about things she’ll “scream and shout”, but that there will be time for advocacy in the future.
