Christmas has officially arrived at VIP Magazine HQ with the arrival of our December issue.
And who else could be our cover star other than the one and only Celia Holman Lee!?
The fabulous model shared her favourite Christmas memories with us as she reminisced about the most wonderful time of the year.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Celia gushes about the magic of Christmas with her children as they were growing up.
“Christmas Eve is the most magic of all! We had the boutique Celia Lee’s in Limerick for 19 years and the kids were very young through all of that, always in and out of the shop.
“The city was buzzing and you couldn’t move anywhere and we’d all be dressed up and we’d have our tea out and then sit in a bar and have a drink and then come home and get them to bed — the excitement! I’d be then running off to my mother to bring her to midnight mass. Magic memories.”
Of course, the magic has been even more amplified as Celia is now a proud granny!
“Life has been good and I’m grateful for lots,” she tells us, “especially for Ger Lee who’s a wonderful husband.
“But one of the greatest gifts in all my years being alive are those grandkids. We have the beautiful Henry, the fantastic Erica, the beautiful boy Tommy, the amazing sportsman, my little Ryan, and then we have the villain of the family, he’s a tonic, his name is Alexander but he only answers to Ada! He’s a villain, he’s great craic, he’s just life.
“I always get a warm feeling, I always get happy when they are around. They are wonderful. They make Christmas for us.”
