Carl Mullan opened up about his and wife, Ais’ plans to renovate their home in Walkinstown.
They purchased the house four years ago, but due to a hectic couple of years for the young family they are only now getting around to doing it up now.
Since purchasing the house they’ve hit pretty much every milestone imaginable including getting engaged, welcoming baby number one, getting married and announcing baby number two following Carl’s Dancing With The Stars win.

In an interview with RSVP Carl said: “We had the builder booked in and then Dancing With The Stars came along and I was thinking it was a mad idea to do both at the same time.”
He mentions that they’re currently working on the kitchen, giving Daibhí their 18 month old son more room to run around: “We are rearranging the kitchen and knocking a couple of walls. It will be nice for Daibhí to have more space for running around.”
The renovations come at a good time as Carl and his wife Ais, are set to welcome a new bundle of joy later on this year.

Just last week the 2FM breakfast show presenter revealed Ais was expecting their second child. He posted an adorable picture of their dog Angie holding the sonogram images as well as newly crowned big brither Daibhí.
Carl paid special tribute ot his wonderful wife who was holding down the fort while he competed on Dancing With The Stars.
He captioned the post: “A bit of news friends…in the midst of all the madness of the last few months, we felt we needed a little more of it just for the craic. We’ve a new little brother/sister on the way for Daibhí and Angie this summer.”
Such an exciting time for their little family as they welcome a new addition and build their dream home from the inside out.
