Congratulations are in order for Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian.
The couple has welcomed their second child.
They are now the proud parents to two beautiful baby girls.
They announced the good news on social media writing: “Please be upstanding for the arrival of our BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, Blu Amar Rose Dowling Gourounlian. Blu was delivered safely on Sunday, June 23rd, at 13:33h, weighing 6lb 2ozs. Myself & Papa @gourounlian are ABSOLUTELY BESOTTED & actually can’t believe we now have two little beauties to keep us on our toes.

“@effidy_dowling_, you are a SUPERSTAR & we are, as always, FOREVER GRATEFUL. You stayed so calm, considering it wasn’t exactly the birth plan we had initially hoped for. Baby Blu was adamant to arrive on Sunday, the 23rd of June & nothing or no one was going to stop her. Big Sister Blake, you have been activated.”
How sweet!
Brian’s sister Aoife acted as their surrogate for a second time.
Speaking to the RTÉ Guide, Brian praised his sister for everything she’s done for him.
“‘We’re in such a lucky position where Aoife is willing to do this.
“She’s a young healthy woman, she’s my sister, she lives in the country, and we were able to get a donor again.
“We’re just very, very lucky. It’s priceless to us, we’re really pinching ourselves,” he added.
Brian previously told VIP Magazine: “We’re very excited, we’re not really organised for baby number two. We just moved recently.
“We’ve just gotten all the baby stuff down and out. Blake is almost two, she’s 20-months, so she’s pretty independent. And now, we’re like, ‘Oh, we’re doing it all again’!”
