Olympic boxer, Kellie Harrington, is no stranger to rings, but the wedding ring is definitely new. As Kellie and her long-time girlfriend Mandy Loughlin tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held in Dublin.

On Friday, the 8th of April, the pair were married at The Old Spot, a Michelin approved gastropub in Dublin.

The couple were joined by their friends and family, but most importantly, their pups, Nidge and Macy, who were in attendance as well. Not only that, but their dogs also featured on the wedding cake, with fondant versions of them sitting on the tiers of the cake.

The cake was made by Anne Geraghty, and the girls seem to have gone for a forest fairytale theme. With their cake also being decked out in stunning roses, cute mushrooms, and tree leaves.

Both of the girls looked absolutely gorgeous, with Kellie going for a floral lace gown with long sleeves and fitted trousers underneath the train. While Mandy opted for a diamond lace dress featuring a fitted skirt.

The celebrations were in full swing on the night, with the happy couple even being serenaded by Irish musician Shobsy, who sang ‘Smalltown Boy’ by Bronski Beat.

The pair were joined by some well-known faces. Including Faye O’Rourke, the Frontman for Soda Blonde, who shared plenty of videos showing Kellie and Mandy dancing, singing, and enjoying themselves.

The newlyweds first met in 2009 at a boxing club in Bray, and they’ve been going strong since. As Mandy told RTÉ Radio 1, “We met 13 years ago in boxing when she used to have to trek over to Bray to train where I was training at the time.”

Kellie announced their engagement back in January, taking to Instagram to share the good news. However, she also revealed just how difficult wedding planning was. Writing on her story, “Wedding planning for a wedding that is 3 months away is definitely STRESSFUL!”

“No venue, Not a stitch of clothes. Not knowing who to invite or where to bloody start. When people said planning a wedding is stressful I never believed it till now.”

“@mandypandie_pie working under pressure is what we’re used to I think.”

But they obviously were able to organise a brilliant day, even with all the stress.

A massive congratulations to the newlyweds!
