
This week marks a major milestone for Bord Gáis Energy Theatre as Ireland’s iconic home of world-class live entertainment celebrates 15 magical years since first opening its doors to the public on 18th March 2010.
Since that opening night, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has welcomed an incredible 7.5 million visitors through its doors.
Over the past 15 years, the theatre has brought an extraordinary range of Broadway and West End smash hits to Dublin, including Hamilton, The Book of Mormon, SIX, Jersey Boys, Chicago, Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, War Horse, Wicked, Disney’s The Lion King, The Commitments, Angela’s Ashes: The Musical, and Les Misérables.
The theatre has also played host to an incredible line-up of A-list stars, including Janet Jackson, Julie Andrews, Ian McKellen, Bono, The Cranberries, Sting, Herbie Hancock, Al Pacino, Tori Amos, Brian Wilson, Chris Hadfield, Plácido Domingo, Bernie Sanders, William Shatner, Tony Bennett, Angela Lansbury, Katherine Jenkins, Joanna Lumley, Joan Baez, Michael Parkinson, Steve Coogan, Robert Plant, Kraftwerk, Cynthia Erivo, and Idina Menzel.

And this year they will bring even more incredible shows to the theatre.
