There were plenty of glamorous guests in the Doubletree by Hilton on Burlington Road recently for the inaugural Beacon Ball.
Those in attendance included Denis O’Brien, businessman; Colm Doherty; Chairman of the Board , Brian Fitzgerald, Deputy CEO of Beacon Hospital; Co-founder of Beacon Hospital, Dr Mark Redmond; board member, Niall Devereux; Ronan Corrigan CEO of Global Medics; Communicorp Chair, Lucy Gaffney and hotelier, Paul Fitzpatrick and his wife, Lisa.
Guests enjoyed a sparkling drinks reception on arrival, followed by a sumptuous five course dinner, superb raffle and entertainment from the energetic Mid-Term Break.
The glitzy ball raises funds for the newly established ‘Beacon Hospital Patient & Research Trust’ each year, which has been set up by staff and consultants from the hospital.
The Trust aims to benefit the community by providing access to and delivery of clinical medical trials and complimentary therapies and provide on-going medical education and support to patients and their families.
