Swapping trips abroad for adventures around our gorgeous country, thousands of people have been planning mini-breaks and staycations at various spots across Ireland.
Doireann Garrihy and Anna Daly have been enjoying the some downtime in the West of Ireland – and now, Bernard Brogan has joined in on the fun too.
The former Dublin GAA star took some time out with his wife Keira and their twin boys, Donagh and Keadán.
“A great few days in West Clare. Beautiful part of the world, even in the rain,” he said alongside some family pics.
Keira and Bernard welcomed their two little boys to the world in 2018.
Although he no longer plays on the field, Bernard reveals he plans to pass on his love for the sport to his young boys.
Recently speaking with RTE’s 2FM about fatherhood and his children he said: “They will definitely be playing GAA.
“The values that you get and the lessons that you learn from team sport, I think is something I have brought into every part of my life.”
