Aslan have sadly confirmed the death of their manager and ‘seventh member’, Svenn Braamark.
The band posted to social media to inform fans of the tragic passing of their dear friend and manager, following an incident in his home country of Sweden.
Posting a picture of Svenn, the band said, “We are lost for words as his death was so sudden and unexpected.
“Svenn passed away suddenly at home in Sweden doing what he always did, helping others.
“This time he was helping his neighbour tackle a fire. While doing this he suffered a massive heart attack and sadly passed away.”
This tragedy comes just months after the death of Aslan keyboardist Pat Fitzpatrick, which also left the band heartbroken.
Our thoughts are with Svenn’s friends and family at this sad time.
