Social media went wild yesterday when cute pictures appeared of Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell on Instagram, hinting that they had got back together. It turns out now though that the Insta account was fake, and the pair haven’t patched up the cracks in their relationship.
The pair fell in love in the Celebrity Big Brother house, but recently called it quits after Jeremy admitted to cheating on Steph.
The picture posted on the fake account was of the former couple looking loved up in bed, leading their fans to believe they were back together, but it was all a hoax.
The pic was captioned: “Sometimes in life people take chances, people interfere but some of us really love someone that we try to forgive but never forget. Jeremy proved that it’s me he wants to be with. I’ve decided to remain with him.”
However, the former Hollyoaks actress fought back at the claims and took to Twitter to clear up the rumours. She asked her fans to not quote fake accounts, and she gave her official account as the only reference point to use.
Well that clears things up!
