Irish hunk James Sandford has joined the cast of E4’s Made In Chelsea. The Armagh native is one of five new faces set to appear on the 13th series of the show, which made its return to tv screens last night.

The 28-year-old landed his role on the popular reality show through a friendship with one of the show favourites, Josh Patterson.

James admitted to Belfast Live that he was a fan of the show before and is delighted to now be part of the cast. He also revealed that what viewers see on the episodes each week is very true to life.

“To be honest, nothing was very different on set than it is off. It’s just how we act or chat to each other. It’s obviously fun.

“Yeah I did watch it, especially because I knew the guys on it. I watched the first season that JP was heavily involved, and I watched last season because Julius was in it.

” It was quite bizarre seeing myself on it, but it was a bit of a laugh and we all had a giggle at it,” he said.

James is a retired rugby player and is now working in client relations and living in London. We look forward to seeing what kind of mischief he gets up to on MIC.
