Yesterday marked Ronan Keating and his blushing bride Storm Uechtritz finally walking down the aisle, and the pair, who are known for enjoying the finer things in life, certainly didn’t disappoint.
Although we can’t yet publish any photos from the glamorous big day – the couple signed a €70k deal with Hello! magazine and banned guests from sharing snaps – we do have details from inside the lavish reception.
The Boyzone singer and his tv producer wife tied the knot in Edinburgh, watched on by her friends and family who jetted in from Oz as well as a number of celebrities including Dannii Minogue and Brian McFadden and of course, Ronan’s bandmates.
Their reception afterward was held in Archerfield House and Golf Resort Resort, which the pair have reportedly booked for four days for the festivities. The resort boasts 15 plush bedroom suites, priced at a hefty €9,000 per night and can hold weddings for up to 200 guests at its waterfront, with more intimate weddings for up to 80 guests inside the main building.
And although details are yet to emerge of the ongoings, including the speeches – no doubt extremely soppy! – it is rumoured that Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance. Goss.ie report that the award-winning singer stunned guests by getting up on stage to serenade the newlyweds.
Other acts on the night included new Irish boyband Lunar, and obviously Boyzone, which Ronan himself joined on stage to belt out a few of their classic hits.
Although Ronan and Storm stayed away from social media yesterday, a move which was very out of character for the couple, they have been keeping their followers up to date with the wedding planning over the past number of months.
Storm showed off the wedding lingerie she designed with brand Myla to take on her honeymoon and continued with her creative streak by creating bridesmaid and flower girl accessories for Ronan’s two daughters, Missy, 14, and Ali, 9.
And fans were kept fully updated with the hen and stag celebrations, as the stunning blonde showed off her girly trip to Paris and the Life is a Rollercoaster singer posted pics of a golf trip to Stoke.
Ronan and Storm met each other while they worked on The X Factor Australia, and the 38-year-old singer popped the question just one month after his divorce from his wife of 17 years, Yvonne Connolly.
