The newly-announced Dancing With The Stars presenter frequently posts hardcore workout videos and healthy eating tips on her website AmandaByram.com. However, speaking to the Sunday Independent Living magazine recently, Amanda gave a practical tip that we’re sure everyone will be delighted to hear.

“Train smarter, not harder. We all tend to give exercise our all, but sometimes over-exercising can negate the good we do. Muscles need time to recuperate and grow.

“This is how we get a lean, toned body. Over-exercise builds lactic acid, which in turn makes our bodies less alkaline, and stress in the body leads to excess cortisol levels which gather around the baby area giving you belly fat.
“So there is a plus to taking a day off and chilling out,” she said.
Now this is exactly what we wanted to hear!
