Former Miss Ireland Amanda Brunker has never been one to shy away from the lime light, so when she posted a picture in just her bra, kickers and leather jacket we weren’t too surprised! However, it was all for a good cause – Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Brunker has jumped on the ‘Think Pink’ band wagon to highlight the importance of checking yourself regularly, and she told her followers, “Don’t be scared to check your breasts… it won’t always be bad news x.”
The blonde bombshell appears to be totally body confident at the moment and we can certainly see why! Earlier this month the curvy star joined Louise Mc Sharry in publicly criticising Cheryl Vernadez-Fersini’s comments that it is bad to tell someone who is over weight that they look ‘curvy’ or ‘great’.
“As a woman who wears a size 14 and hence would be classed as obese, I take great offence to that statement, Okay, fine, I could probably stand to lose a few pounds but I’m in excellent health and I feel good – that’s all that should matter,” Brunker retaliated.
Well, after having two adorable children, we think she looks absolutely great, we’re well jeal of her bangin’ bod in this picture and what’s better is it’s all for a fantastic cause – hats off to Brunker!
She also opened up about her own breast cancer scare in this candid blog post, discussing a scary time when she discovered lumps in her breast, which turned out to be benign.
“Never before (or since) have I been equally as focused and terrified as I was while I waited for those results,” she writes. “I was a goner, I was sure of it. Thankfully I was wrong.”
