It’s not every day that your child’s film premieres at Sundance Film Festival.

Eve Hewson has been absolutely killing it in the acting world recently. Her latest film, Flora and Son, was screened at Sundance this week to the delight of everyone involved.

With the film paying homage to mothers it was no surprise that Eve was joined by her proud mother, Ali Hewson at the event.

Eve shared pictures of herself with her mam during the film premiere and afterwards with the pair twinning in all-black ensembles.

She was also joined by Oren Kinlan who plays her son in the movie. And Eve was just like a proud mam as she shared her delight about his role in the film on social media.

During the standing ovation, she shared a video of Oren being moved to tears with the caption: “Happy tears.”

She also shared a video of him showing off his rapping skills as the cast and crew stood in front of the screen following the movie.

“His first movie, his first Sundance and his first rap performance!” she wrote.

Flora and Son sees Eve Hewson play a struggling and immature young mother of a troubled teenager played by Oren Kinlan.

When she tries to give her son a guitar as a birthday present, he rejects it so she decides to learn how to play herself. With the help of a slightly jaded online guitar instructor played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, she finds renewed purpose and a connection with her son thanks to her guitar.

We can’t wait to watch!
