Alan Hughes has revealed that he is finding this third lockdown particularly hard. The entire country is now in level five restrictions until the end of the month due to soaring Covid-19 cases.
Many Irish celebs have shared, that like us throughout the past year, the lockdowns have been difficult. It seems that many people are struggling with this one due to the colder weather and short days.
Posting to Instagram the 57-year-old shared; “Have to admit I’m finding this lockdown very hard and frustrating…”
He continued; “hope your all doing ok ….@karlbroderick is keeping me sane if it was not for him I don’t know what I would do ……Keep Safe Everyone …”
The Ireland AM presenter shared that it’s his husband, Karl who is helping him the most through the most difficult lockdown we’ve had yet.
The couple met almost three decades ago and had a civil ceremony in the Mansion House in 2011, before enjoying a private family wedding in 2016.
Celebrating their anniversary in October Alan said; “Happy anniversary Karl.”
“It may be raining outside, but the sun is shining in my heart.”
