Ticketmaster has issued a statement in relation to Ed Sheeran’s upcoming concerts.
The artist is set to play several dates in Cork, Belfast Dublin and Galway starting on May 4th.
The concerts had strict guidelines in place for purchasing tickets and Ticketmaster Cork shared a statement to remind fans that the rules are still in place.
“All Ed Sheeran concert tickets sold for his Irish tour across 3 venues in Cork, Dublin and Galway were sold with strict guidelines for purchasers to follow. These rules have not changed since the release of tickets,” It said.
Fans must bring photo Id and proof of the card used if tickets were bought online.
“Persons who purchased their tickets through the website are required to bring Photo ID in the lead booking name on the tickets along with the credit card or a photocopy of a credit card used for purchase.
“Persons who purchased their tickets in Ticketmaster outlets are just required to bring Photo ID in the lead booking name printed on their tickets to gain entry. No receipt of payment is required in this instance.”
However, if the person who bought the tickets cannot attend, it gets a bit tricky.
“If the lead booker of the tickets is unable to attend the concert someone with the same surname as on the tickets may use the tickets provided they show Photo ID and a photocopy of the credit card used for purchase. (CC details required for online purchases only).
They added: “If a purchaser has a question in relation to there online booking they are asked to contact the ticketmaster customer service section through the website on the contact us section or call 0818 90 30 01.”
All Ed’s nine Irish gigs are sold out.
