Stephanie Davis has finally broken her social media silence after Jeremy McConnell was arrested for allegedly assaulting her last Thursday.
Although it is not yet known whether Jeremy was present at the time of the incident, he flew from Ireland to Liverpool on Thursday in order to aid police with their assault and criminal damage investigation.
He had been spending a significant amount of time in Liverpool with the former Hollyoaks actress prior to the incident, as he got to know their new born son Caben-Albi.
Merseyside police confirmed the arrest today with a spokesperson saying, “Following a report of an assault at an address in Rainhill, a man has this morning (Thursday, 16 March) been arrested.
“A 27-year-old man from Liverpool city centre has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after voluntarily attending a police station on Merseyside. He remains in police custody for questioning.”
Jeremy’s representative has spoken out slamming claims that Jeremy had anything to to with the assault, but insisted he is doing all he can to help the police.
“Jeremy denies any wrong doing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations.” his rep told the Irish Mirror.
Stephanie is yet to comment on the incident, but she broke her social media silence yesterday as she told fans she was decorating little Caben’s new room.
She shared snap of her newly purchased furniture and captioned it saying, “Caben’s wardrobes and Cot up in his new room. Still lots to do but it finally feels like home.”
“Thankyou to my dad for helping all today with Building Everything hope your backs not to sore. Just to finish it off now.”
