The news broke yesterday that Conor McGregor had been forced to pull out of an upcoming fan event in Dublin. The Q&A was set to take place at The Red Cow Moran Hotel on Friday the 17th of February.

It was originally reported by the hotel that an unforeseen change in the Notorious’ schedule led to the cancellation, but now the true reason has been uncovered.

According to the Irish Sun, the Crumlin native is set to travel to Las Vegas to appear in a video in aid of an anti-bullying campaign for children.

The vid is part of a deal with the Nevada Sport Commission, which was agreed upon after it was stated that Conor threw a water bottle at his opponent Nate Diaz.

While in sin city, the MMA champ will also meet with his representatives to finalise details of his upcoming fight against Floyd Mayweather.

A source from Straight Blast Gym informed the newspaper that, “Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed a deal to fight and have both settled on their respective fees.

“The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third party hold-up but all the details have all been agreed on. The fight could even be announced within two weeks.”
