Newstalk teased listeners yesterday by revealing they were hiring a new female presenter, and today she has been revealed!
TV3’s Colette Fitzpatrick has been named as the station’s newest addition and only female presenter, since Norah Casey’s departure from MindFeed last year.
The announcement comes after the broadcaster told the public that a well known female presenter would be frontlining a new show. Names such as Laura Whitmore and Lorraine Keane were rumoured to have been considered for the job.
As revealed today, Colette will host a new Sunday show at the station. As reported by The Sun, Newstalk chiefs said that “Sunday is the only day she has free”, as she is still committed to her anchor position at TV3. She is also due to stand in for Vincent Browne on his nightly programme shortly.
