Xpose presenter Lisa Cannon has opened up about her impending wedding to rugby star, Richard Keatley.
The couple have invited 105 guests to the ceremony which is set to take place in the lavish Castello di Vincigliata in Florence, and Lisa has joked that Richard’s been “allocated two people.”
Discussing the big day on 2FM she said, “Well Richard says to me, ‘Thank you for inviting me to your wedding’, because I’ve so many family members that he’s only been allocated two people.”
With the wedding being in Italy, Lisa was surprised, but absolutely delighted that so many people said they could attend.
“We counted it last night actually. I was up until two in the morning. There’s 105 including us. We were thinking a lot of people wouldn’t bother, but listen, everybody that got the invite were like, ‘yeah we’re coming,’ so we’re kind of stumped,” she admitted.
Despite still having so much to do around the big day, Lisa has been sure to let her hair down and enjoy not one, but two hen parties over the past few weeks.
“I had two. I had one with all the TV3 Xpose crowd that was brilliant. That was just last week… I’m still recovering! Before that, we really went hell for leather in Galway, down to a castle with the girls,” she said.
Lisa’s soon-to-be husband Richard joined her at the TV hen party last week before jetting off to Budapest for his own stag do.
“Richard turned up and we had all the production crew. He was going on his stag so he came and drank through the night. I got some updates [from the stag]. He was dressed as Britney Spears when he got to Dublin Airport. He also told me he was dressed up as a fox and everyone chased him around the streets of Budapest, so that was hilarious. There’s a video going around, but not for your eyes,” she laughed.
Sticking with the celebrity go-to honeymoon location, Lisa admitted that the pair will be heading off the Seychelles shortly after saying ‘I do.’
