Brian McFadden excited his fans today by announcing a live show in Whelans, Dublin on the back of his new single ‘Call Me Brother’.

The ex-Westlife singer is no stranger to the popular Dublin venue, taking to its stage as a new solo artist after he left Westlife in December 2004 and enjoyed some success with number one single Real to Me.

In 2013 he released the album The Irish Connection which didn’t do as well however: it entered the charts at 75.

Since then his projects have mainly been TV based so here at VIP towers we’re excited for Brian to put his musical boots back on!

“It’s great to be releasing new music again,” he admitted.

“I’ve been back in the studio writing and recording this year, so being able to release ‘Call On Me Brother’ and my ITV series ‘Who’s Doing The Dishes’ coming back on air soon, it’s going to be an exciting few months ahead….not to mention the live shows later in the year!”

Speaking to OK! magazine recently he revealed a Westlife reunion may be possible at some point.

“The last time all five of us were in the same room was in 2010 when we went out for dinner, and that lasted about 45 minutes,” he revealed.

“Maybe one day we’ll do something together, but it certainly won’t be on The Big Reunion.”
