Fans are still reeling over Conor McGregor’s historic win against Eddie Alvarez on Saturday night, and over his announcement that himself and girlfriend Dee Devlin are set to become parents– but now there’s more that Irish fans in particular are set to be very excited about.
President of the UFC Dana White has suggested that the Notorious’ next fight may take place in Dublin’s Croke Park. He’s quoted in a number of US publications as saying that Conor “may well fight” on home turf next time around.
“He could fight anywhere, Nevada, Las Vegas, or even outside the US, which includes Croke Park,” he said.
Insiders close to the Crumlin native also revealed that Conor is pushing for an Irish fight over the next year or so.
We really hope this happens- the atmosphere would be electric!
